Control Panels are panel discussions built around the taxonomy: each one takes a layer, puts the hosts who run it and the vendors who build it on the same panel, and gets the working details of that layer on the record.
Attendees get pancake vouchers. Obviously.
How a Control Panel runs
- 1 Pick the layer — Each session takes one layer of the taxonomy — panels, edge security, backups — announced ahead of time with the market-share board as the backdrop.
- 2 Seat the panel — Hosts who run the layer on one side, vendors who build it on the other, moderated by wphosts.com. Both sides of the same declaration, at the same table.
- 3 Compare notes in the open — No slides, no pitches. What works, what breaks, what it actually costs — the questions hosts ask each other in private, asked on the record.
- 4 Publish the takeaways — The write-up lands in Research, and anything declared on stage points back to profiles on the index — self-reported, as always.
- 5 Pancakes — Vouchers at the door. This part is not negotiable.
