Where a Control Panel works through one layer at a time, BREAKFÆST runs the whole stack at once. Everything the index measures all year gets its day on stage.
How BREAKFÆST runs
- 1 Every layer, one venue — The Control Panels run side by side across the day — each layer of the taxonomy gets its table, its operators, and its turn on the record.
- 2 State of the stack — The year's data presented from the boards: market-share moves, consolidation, who got acquired, who got claimed.
- 3 The Pancake Awards — The leaderboards made physical — gold, silver, and bronze for the vendors on top of each layer, straight from the standings.
- 4 Infra Talk, live — The podcast recorded in front of a room, with the operators whose stacks the index has been tracking all year.
- 5 The floor — Vendors bring Dollops, hosts bring their stacks, and the deals that live on the index get made in person.
- 6 The long table — It ends the way the whole site starts: everyone at one table, pancakes for all.
